Designed to help college freshmen understand in more detail exactlz what kind of work is required in soil science, this module was developed by the NMSU Learning Games Lab in partnership with the NMSU Plant & Environmental Sciences Department. Users learn about the difference between adsorption and absorption, how we test for adsorption, and how to evaluate and analyze the data gained. Colorful graphics and a quirky sense of humor help retain interest while still giving an accurate portrayal of running an experiment in a laboratory.
